The New Swan Shakespeare Center is the campus research unit that supports the work of New Swan Shakespeare Festival, promotes innovative scholarship on Shakespeare and his worlds, and provides educational opportunities for the community, including teachers. Projects include community seminars, reading groups, lectures, research and study retreats, and edited volumes and collections. The New Swan Shakespeare Center is co-directed Julia Lupton (English) and Eli Simon (Drama). Julia Lupton runs programming associated with the Center, which has its own website in the School of Humanities.
