Southern California, it's that time again! New Sw Southern California, it's that time again!

New Swan Shakespeare Festival auditions are now open. We're incredibly excited to share that this season we'll be presenting "Much Ado About Nothing" directed by Eli Simon; and "All's Well That Ends Well" directed by Rob Salas. As a reminder, New Swan auditions are open to all members of the Southern California community, so feel free to spread the word!

If you are interested in auditioning, please fill out the audition form (found in our linktree on our bio) by November 15th. The form closes at midnight so be sure to get it in on time! All content must be submitted via this form, including a 2-3 min video with two contrasting Shakespeare monologues and a short joke of your choosing. At this time, New Swan is unable to offer AEA contracts.

In-person callbacks will be held on Sunday, December 8th between 9am - 7pm at UC Irvine. More information regarding parking, location, and the schedule for callbacks will be sent out by the end of November. This year, we will also be offering understudy agreements, as well as continuing our Apprenticeship Program for early-career professionals. More information can be found on the audition form.

If you have any questions or concerns feel free to reach out to New Swan's Casting Coordinator, Beth Lopes (beth.g.lopes@gmail.com), our Artistic Director, Eli Simon (esimon@uci.com), or our Production Coordinator, Jesús E. López Vargas (lopezvar@uci.edu). Thank you for your time and have a beautiful day!
